A campaign to save the RACS building at 180 - 214 Upper Tooting Road is stepping up this weekend with a drive to raise awareness of demolition plans.
Tooting may not be as famous for its Indian cuisine as Southall, but when it comes to South Indian specialities SW17 is the clear winner.
There are so many fantastic resturants in Tooting, veggie Kastoori and the wonderful Mirch Masala being just two out of half a dozen real gems. But if you are looking for the definitive taste of Tooting, then get a dosa.
And a Masala Dosa from Dosa ‘n Chutney is pretty good choice.
Well I suppose you’ve got to do something in the Lido during the winter. Must find out when this is going to be screened.
