Songs by Hanoi Rocks and Mark Bolan have put Tooting firmly on London’s musical map, though neither effort convey fond memories of SW17.

Just discovered that my favourite local band The Brent Flood have changed their name to Skinny Machines. The Tooting-based band have been gigging for a few years and I have followed their progress, since discovering them at the wonderful Tracked in Tooting at the Selkirk in 2008. Looking forward to seeing them live.
